Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA)

The Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts confers the designation of CDFA upon individuals meeting the standards of the institute.  These individuals are primarily Certified Financial Planners (CFPs), Certified Public Accountants (CPAs), and attorneys.

CDFAs are trained to provide financial information and assistance to individuals and attorneys in divorce situations.  This includes areas such as financial and tax implications, settlement options for dividing property, and provision of child support and spousal maintenance.

CDFAs are also trained and licensed to use Divorce Plan™ computer software.
