Options in a Fraud Situation
When confronted with a potential fraud situation, a number of options are available. In order of decreasing severity (and increasing ease of proving), these are:
Criminal prosecution
Civil litigation
Negotiated settlement
Claim against fidelity or other insurance
Termination
Increase controls
Ignore
