Americans With Disabilities Act Information

 

The U.S. Department of Justice has announced the availability of information on ADA (the Americans With Disabilities Act) for small businesses.

ADA mandates a number of specific requirements that businesses and landlords must meet and provides tax credits in some circumstances. The act also provides certain exemptions. Business owners in South Florida should also be aware that Dade and Broward Counties impose additional requirements.
