Due Monday, January 31 prior to midnight

 Answer all questions specifically in relation to the information presented in the video and as it applies to this specific organization. No theoretical answers or quotes from the book. Be clear and specific. Number your answers.

For purposes of this project, single space your answers with one blank line between questions. Prepare in Microsoft Word and e-mail as an attachment to me rkulzick@stu.edu prior to the deadline. No late papers accepted. Indicate your names on the paper. Be sure to place a subject on your e-mail and indicate in the text what specifically is attached.

1. What six things does managing projects involve? List and briefly explain each.

2. Work breakdown

            A. What is it?

            B. How does it effect schedule?

            C. How does it effect budget?

            D. How was it done for this project? Be specific.

3. What three specific scheduling techniques are mentioned in the video? Briefly explain each and what it is used for on this project.

4. Unforeseen problems (not relating to quality). For EACH problem:

            A. List the specific unforeseen non-quality problems on this project.

            B. What was the cause of each?

            C. Could it have been foreseen?

            D. Could it have been prevented? How?

            E. What was the effect on the schedule?

5. Unforeseen problems relating to quality. For EACH problem:

            A. List the specific unforeseen quality problems on this project.

            B. What was the cause of each?

            C. Could it have been foreseen?

            D. Could it have been prevented? How?

            E. What was the effect on the schedule?

Note: For questions 4 and 5, there are 8 specific unforeseen problems in total for the two questions. Each problem should go under either 4 or 5, but not both.
