Individual Project #4

There are two separate problems for this project. Both projects use the same
questions as stated below.
Problem 1 - Page 145,
problem 2 Breezy
Problem 2 - Page 295,
problem 12 Harlan Mfg. (7th edition only - problem in 6th edition is not the
same).
Questions:
#1. Analyze the internal
control weaknesses in the system. Organize your response to address the six
physical control activities as specified in SAS 78 / COSO control model.
These are in the 7th edition beginning on page 135 and in the 6th edition
beginning on page 142.
#2. For EACH weakness,
discuss a recommendation to solve the problem. These must be specific AND you
must explain how it will solve the weakness.
The best way to organize
this is to have each weakness immediately followed by the solution.
For each problem, there should be weaknesses in at least 4 of the 6 control activities.
