If you say it is present, you need specific examples. If you say it is not present, you must support why you feel it is not.

A. Transaction Processing Systems (TPS).

B. Office Automation Systems (OAS).

C. Management Information Systems (MIS).

D. Decision Support Systems (DSS).

E. Executive Support Systems (ESS).

2. CareGroup decided to develop the new POE system in-house rather than using a package.

A. Clearly list and briefly explain at least three specific advantages to CareGroup of in-house development of the POE application.

B. Clearly list and briefly explain at least three specific disadvantages.

C. Was their choice of in-house development the best choice for this organization for this application? Support your answer fully.

3. Security and privacy related to the POE system:

A. Fully define computer security.

B. Discuss at least three specific computer security issues raised by the new POE system.

C. Fully define privacy. Be sure to differentiate from security.

D. Discuss at least three specific computer privacy issues raised by the new POE system.

4. System cutover:

A. Briefly explain the method of cutover that was used for both the POE and ER systems. Support your answer.

B. Was this the best method of cutover for these systems? If so, support FULLY; if not what would have been better and why.

5. The ER "dashboard" system adds WLAN access in addition to the terminal access that the POE system has.

A. Clearly list and briefly explain at least three specific advantages to CareGroup of WLAN in this application.

B. Clearly list and briefly explain at least three specific disadvantages.

C. Was their choice of WLAN the best choice for this organization for this application? Support your answer fully.
