FAQ
VF Corp. - 2003

Note that these responses are not official additions to the questions; only explanations of what is required to answer them. Be sure you read the question and understand it fully before answering.

Question 4. I have in my notes that for # 4 we just define the three criteria but pick one that VF is applying. Is this correct or do I have to define how it applies to all three if they do so apply?

You need to start with either yes or no and then completely support (with definition) which one if yes, or with definitions, why not any of the three.

Any suggestions on how to answer this?

I suggest that you (1) define the term, (2) state your answer, and (3) relate the facts in the case to the specific elements of the definition to support your answer. Include specific examples, if appropriate.

Question 5. I am having a hard time finding more than one example for the subsections of question 5. Is it okay to have just one example per subsection as long as it is specific.

One example per subsection is the minimum, more are preferred. If the one example is specific, complete and correct, there would be full credit.

I understand the differences b/t batch and online but I'm having a problem with this question.  Can you give me any insight on what I need to be looking for?  Anything can help.

I would suggest drawing a diagram of the information flows (just a sketch for your own use, not to turn in) from where data first enters the system to where it exits as reports, inquiries, etc. Then see if you can identify what is happening at the various stages in terms of batch or online. Then select one or more instances of input and processing in response to the questions.

Where can I find the definitions for this?
