B2C - Business to Consumer

Business selling retail directly to the consumer. Examples are Amazon and Lands End.

B2B - Business to Business

Business selling to another business. These sites generally are not open to the public, however, many manufacturers have sites to sell to their distributors and/or retailers.

C2C - Consumer to Consumer

A consumer selling directly to another consumer. For example, an individual selling an item on ebay (note that businesses that sell on ebay are B2C).
